A non-DOT Level 3 assessment is restricted to organizations with a confidential medical department overseen by a physician. The assessment begins with an enhanced professional SAP assessment utilizing two or three standardized substance abuse screening tools—Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory 3 (SASSI-3) and Brief Michigan Alcohol Screening Test (Brief MAST) and/or Drug Abuse Screening Test-10 (DAST-10). An enhanced report is then sent to the Designated Employer Representative with detailed assessment reporting and treatment recommendations. A 3 page supplementary report for an organization’s confidential records/medical department is also provided. Following these reports, ongoing client tracking is provided to ensure compliance and an in-person follow-up assessment is carried out. An enhanced confidential final report is then provided, reporting on compliance with treatment recommendations and offering detailed relapse prevention strategies and recommendations for employee accommodation upon return to work.
